Magnetically-levitating Accretion Disks around SMBH
In this talk I present a theoretical discovery of magnetically-levitating accretion disks around SMBH. The structure of such disks is calculated by numerically modelling tidal disruption of magnetised interstellar gas clouds. We find that the resulting disks are completely dominated by the magnetic field pressure, display high accretion rates due to the Maxwell stress associated with the large-scale magnetic field, and inhibit disk fragmentation. Therefore, such disks represent a new class of accretion-disc solutions which may play an important role in feeding the supermassive black holes
