I will summarize recent developments in modeling of mass outflows from
accretion disks in active galactic nuclei. I will discuss how
the hydrodynamical and magnetohydrodynamical wind structures revealed in
numerical simulations relate to observations. In particular,
I will present synthetic line profiles predicted by the simulations and
compare them with observations of broad line quasars.
