The Fugu cluster, made by Atipa, has the following specifications:


Front End Server
  • CPU - Two Dual Core AMD Opteron 2220 processors (2.8GHz each)
  • Memory - 8GB memory with ECC, DDR2-667
  • Storage - Two hot swappable 320GB SATA hard drives in RAID 1 configuration
  • RAID Controller - On-board U320 SCSI dual channel and SATA RAID supports 0 and 1
  • SCSI - LSI SCSI controller for external RAID Array
  • Optical Drive - DVD-Rom Drive
  • Video - ATI Rage video
  • Ethernet NIC - Intel Pro/10BGE CX4 Server Adapter


Back Up Front End Server
  • CPU - Two Dual Core AMD Opteron 2220 processors (2.8GHz each)
  • Memory - 8GB memory with ECC, DDR2-667
  • OS & Storage - Two 320GB SATA WD 3200SB hard drives in RAID 1 configuration
  • RAID Controller - On-board U320 SCSI dual channel and SATA RAID supports 0 and 1
