- CIERA postdoc Smadar Naoz was awarded a Gruber Fellowship by the International Astronomical Union for 2010-11.
- Theoretical Astrophysics undergraduate student David Ackerman won the Award for Best Honors Thesis in the Integrated Science Program for his work on exoplanets with Fred Rasio.
